The 24th Compounders Conference continues the tradition of premier programming with technical, regulatory, economic and commercial segments focusing on the flexible vinyl industry. Our subject matter experts come from the federal government, industry, consulting firms and the premier associations in this arena. The full program will be released shortly.
Accommodations
The Charleston Place Hotel provides an elegant and convenient base for our meeting and exploration of Charleston. The hotel presents two excellent restaurants: Charleston Grill, Palmetto Café and the very comfortable Thoroughbred Club in the lobby serving drinks as well as afternoon tea. The rooftop spa features a pool with retractable roof and a beautiful view of the city. Wi-Fi is free and there is a well-equipped business center.
One hallway off the lobby leads to a shopping arcade with high end stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, kate spade New York, Tommy Bahama and Lacoste. Blocks of quaint antiquing, coffee shops and historic sites are just outside.
Parking is only $14 overnight, but once you get into your room, you will not need a car. The location of the hotel is ideal - it is right across from the Market, one side borders King Street (close to the shopping there), dozens of choices for excellent dining, and an easy walk to the water and all the attractions along South of Broad. Take a carriage ride about the city to really get a sense of the history and character of Charleston. It is truly a unique city.
