Plastics News Processor of the Year
Maureen Steinwall, owner of custom injection molding specialist Steinwall Inc. of Coon Rapids, MN accepted the Plastics News' Processor of the Year Award on behalf of her company.
A very successful company in terms of growth and sales, and a groundbreaker in employee training, Steinwall Inc.'s fiscal-year 2011 sales of $19.1 million are almost three times its 2001 sales, and 50% more than during its worst recession year — and company growth is continuing. This year, Steinwall Inc. will open a new building, which frees up space in its current facility for 48 injection molding machines.
Maureen Steinwall is a long-time active member of SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association, and currently serves as a member of the SPI Executive Board. SPI sponsors the Plastics News Processor of the Year Award, but is not connected in any way with the judging of winners.
