Washington D.C.— The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and the Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC) have announced a call for presentations for 2024 Vinyl Week, a must-attend event for vinyl processors and material suppliers. Vinyl Week combines two industry events, The PLASTICS Vinyl Compounders Conference and the Vinyl Institute Sustainability Summit, into one event.
“Last year’s Vinyl Week brought together industry leaders offering a wealth of knowledge with our audience and this year will be no different,” said PLASTICS’ Vice President of Industry Engagement, Ashley Hood-Morley. “The vinyl industry is comprised of so many innovators and visionaries, and we invite presentations and proposals that will invigorate and inspire our attendees.”
“We look forward to partnering again with PLASTICS on this important industry event,” said Jay Thomas, Executive Director of the Vinyl Sustainability Council. “Bringing together these two important events has proven to be a winning combination that has become a must-attend event in the vinyl industry.”
Interested presenters may submit their proposals here. Submissions must be received by August 31, 2024. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by September 30, 2024.
2024 Vinyl Week will be held December 9-12, 2024, at Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky and registration will open later this summer.
Conference attendees represent companies including vinyl resin and plasticizer producers, compounders and formulators, and producers of industrial and consumer end-products.
In 2024, the Vinyl Sustainability Summit will have one full day of sustainability-focused programming followed by PLASTICS’ 34th Annual Vinyl Compounders Conference, with two full days of programming centered around market trends and drivers, technology innovation, and business readiness.
